🎬 Sew Blood — A Story Where Morality Bleeds with Survival
By Arvini Studio
In a world where survival blurs the line between right and wrong, Sew Blood begins.
Created by Najmeddine Hmaine, Sew Blood is an upcoming Moroccan psychological crime series produced by Arvini Studio, exploring the underground world of organ trade and the broken dreams that lead people there.
The Story
After the death of his father, Jassir, a 24-year-old man full of potential, goes to live with his uncle Morad, a disciplined ex-sergeant who once dreamed of sending him abroad to study medicine. But when Morad loses his job and the system fails them both, their lives take a darker turn.
Everything changes the night they overhear a man in a taxi willing to sell his kidney out of despair. What starts as an act of curiosity becomes an entry into a world where organs have prices, and morality becomes a luxury.
Across ten intense episodes, Sew Blood dives deep into the emotional and psychological scars left by poverty, loyalty, and ambition. The first season starts with the kidney and ends with the heart both literally and metaphorically.
The Universe
Sew Blood is not just a crime series. It’s an emotional universe, crafted with cinematic precision and human depth.
The story unfolds across three main spaces:
-
The hospital, where law and ethics collide.
-
The secret location, where operations take place far from mercy.
-
The flashbacks, revealing the past that shaped Jassir and Morad’s bond.
Arvini Studio plans to expand this universe through “Early Scenes”, a series of short episodes that explore side stories and characters like Takousa, Jassir’s childhood friend. These early episodes will set the tone before the main production begins.
The Vision Behind Sew Blood
At Arvini Studio, storytelling is not just entertainment it’s a mirror to society.
Sew Blood reflects a question that echoes far beyond the screen:
“What happens when a system fails the talented?”
The project aims to combine Moroccan realism with international-quality storytelling, merging cinema, psychology, and social reflection into a single powerful narrative.
Production Plans
Sew Blood is set to begin development with the support of the Cinema Center, with an estimated budget of $300,000 for the first season.
The full series will be produced by Arvini Studio, which continues to expand its creative universe through fashion, music, and film each connected by a single thread: authentic storytelling.
